Understanding abrasive wheels regulations (PUWER 1998)
Types, functions, and applications of abrasive wheels
Safe handling, storage, and transportation of abrasive wheels
Inspection and maintenance procedures
Mounting and dressing of wheels
Identifying hazards and implementing safety measures

Assessment
Assessment is on-going by the instructor, culminating with a multiple choice question paper.
Duration
The course requires a minimum of 3 hours, distributed over the day.

Certification Validity
This qualification has no formal expiry, however regular CPD and updates are recommended.

A maximum of 12 students are allowed and must be a minimum of 16 years of age and a certificate can be offered to all, subject to assessment.
