CITB Health and Safety Awareness
The CITB Health and Safety Awareness course is designed for construction workers and site operatives to help them understand basic health and safety responsibilities. This course covers essential safety principles, enabling participants to contribute to a safer working environment by identifying hazards and following safety protocols.
Course Contents
The need to prevent accidents.
Health and safety law.
How your role fits into the control and management of the site.
Risk assessments and method statements.
Performing safely and asking for advice.
How to report unsafe acts to prevent an accident.

Multi-choice (30 minute)
Duration
This course requires a minimum of 8 hours. This should take a minimum of one day but can be changed to suit your needs.
Certification Validity
This qualification lasts 5 years, then a refresher course needs to be completed
Further Information - Course Numbers
A maximum of 12 students are allowed and must be a minimum of 16 years of age and a certificate can be offered to all, subject to assessment.
Assessment method: Activities, test paper.
Pre-requisite: NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (Recommended)
