Course Summary
FAA Level 2 Award in Health & Safety in the Workplace (RQF)
This is an excellent introduction to health and safety in the workplace and will benefit all employees, particularly those who may be accepting a health and safety role, such as a safety representative within their organisation. Successful candidates will be awarded a national Level 2 (Level 5 in Scotland) qualification which will provide an ideal platform to higher level training or career development.
Course Contents
A range of subjects are covered including:
The roles and responsibilities for health, safety and welfare in the workplace.
The value and process of risk assessments.
The identification and control of workplace hazards.
How to respond to workplace incidents and accidents
Assessment
The instructor conducts a single written assessment at the end of the course. Upon successful completion, learners will receive the qualification and certification. No external assessors are required for this qualification.
Duration
The course requires a minimum of 10 hours, distributed over the days. While it is ideal to complete the course in two days, we can adjust the schedule to suit your specific needs.
Certification Validity
This qualification has no formal expiry, however regular CPD and updates are recommended.

A maximum of 12 students are allowed and must be a minimum of 16 years of age and a certificate can be offered to all, subject to assessment.
