Course Summary
IOSH Managing Safely Refresher
The one-day course is for delegates who have already completed the full Managing Safely course. Delegates get to refresh their knowledge on key parts of Managing Safely by relating them to a plan-do-check-act safety and health management system, with leadership at the heart of it all. Delegates reflect on what they took away from the full Managing Safely course. They will also revisit the key reasons for managing safely and recap some of the key terms in an engaging and participative way.
Course Contents
The course consists of 6 modules.
Module 1 looks at what you learned previously.
Module 2 discusses leadership.
Modules 3 - 6 cover the Plan, do, check, Act model.
Assessment
Multi-format assessment paper. (30 minutes)
Duration
The course requires a minimum of 3 hours, distributed over the day.
Certification Validity
This qualification has no formal expiry, however regular CPD and updates are recommended.
Further Information - Course Numbers
A maximum of 12 students are allowed and must be a minimum of 16 years of age and a certificate can be offered to all, subject to assessment.
