NEBOSH Oil and Gas Certificate
The NEBOSH Oil and Gas Certificate is designed for professionals in the oil and gas industry who are looking to develop their health and safety management skills in this high-risk sector. This course provides a comprehensive understanding of safety management, risk control, and emergency response in oil and gas operations.
Course Contents
The key topics covered by the qualification are:
Hazards inherent in the extraction, storage and processing of raw materials and products.
Hydrocarbon process safety.
Risk management techniques used in the oil and gas industries.
Contractor management.
Fire and explosion controls in the oil and gas industries.
Marine and Land logistics.
Assessment
Students are assessed by one two-hour written examination. The examination consists of ten ‘short-answer’ questions and one ‘long-answer’ question. Scripts are marked by competent external examiners appointed by NEBOSH.

This course requires a minimum of 9 days This should take a minimum of 9 days but can be changed to suit your needs.
Certification Validity
This qualification has no formal expiry, however regular CPD and updates are recommended.

A maximum of 12 students are allowed and must be a minimum of 16 years of age and a certificate can be offered to all, subject to assessment.
