Working at Height Training
This 3-hour course provides essential knowledge on the safe working practices required when working at height. Participants will learn about risk assessments, fall prevention techniques, the correct use of equipment, and legal requirements to ensure safety during height-related tasks.
Course Contents
Identifying fall hazards and assessing risks
Fall prevention and protection measures
Safe use of ladders, scaffolding, and other height equipment
Legal requirements and responsibilities
Emergency response and rescue plans
Assessment
Assessment is on-going by the instructor, culminating with a multiple choice question paper.
Duration
The course requires a minimum of 3 hours, distributed over the day.
Certification Validity
This qualification has no formal expiry, however regular CPD and updates are recommended.
Further Information - Course Numbers
A maximum of 12 students are allowed and must be a minimum of 16 years of age and a certificate can be offered to all, subject to assessment.
