Mini Medics - Mental Health First Aid
Mini Medics Mental Health is a mental health training course designed for children between the ages of 9-14 but it can suit children of any age.
Course Summary
Mini Medics - Mental Health First Aid
The course will provide the children with a basic understanding of mental health, including what mental health means, how it is linked to physical health, what to do if they have a worry and the various ways in which they can look after their mental health. It will also give them tools and coping strategies.
This course is something I’m very passionate about and feel it has never been more important to support the mental wellbeing of our children and young people. This course will be fun while engaging where children can come and feel happy to talk and learn openly about Mental Health.
This day is not a therapy session with no discussions about individual personal issues more a training course to introduce the basics of understanding mental health and the importance of discussion.
